Welcome to our website and thank you for your valuable time. There is a lot of information here. The best way to maximize our free resources is outlined below.



How to get started on our site:

1) Read our book, Go Faster! It is free, concise (takes about 45 minutes), and linked below. It is not a scholarly masterpiece and the grammar police will not be pleased. However, it is free and gets to the details of how we train.

2) Visit our 800m, 1500 / Mile, 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon Training Plans linked below. These plans are free as well. These plans are a few years old, but have proven helpful for many readers to get them thinking of the right questions and training principles. I guarantee you I would make some changes if I updated the plans today. However, much of my time is spent on our Pro team and generating revenue from our more profitable businesses. You will notice in Step 4 I have a link to our current Pro Team training schedules - these are closer to my true training philosophy. However, I think those schedules may overwhelm many new site visitors.

3) Understand the medical and safety issues relevant to running.

4) If you are an experienced runner, read through our Pro Team Training Schedule and archive. This will give you a good picture of how we approach a 2 year plan.

5) Finally, work to develop the skills outlined in the videos and discussions below.
